AKA HOEGH – Painter, lithographer, sculptress, visual artist

 
 
Born in Qullissat in 1947. Lives in Qaqortoq, South Greenland. Guest student at the Danish 
Art Academy in Copenhagen - and moreover selftaught. 
 
Member of:
The Danish Artist Society Association and "den Gyldne", KIMIK, Initiator of the Nordic Sculpting 
project Stone and Man" in Qaqortoq. – The international artist Group "Art for Life", 
who accomplished worlds longest painting of 24.644 sqm in Elche in Spain. 
 
Solo exhibitions:
Alaska, Denmark, Finland, The Faroes, Greenland, Iceland, Latvia Lithuania, Norway, 
Sweden, Germany, Mexico and Bolivia.
 
Group Exhibitions:
Most of Europe, Israel, representing Greenland in "Scandinavia Today" in USA. 
Represented in the worlds longest painting in Elsche, Spain. 
 
Represented in:
Kobberstiksamlingen, Statens Kunstfond, Ny Carlsbergfondet, Rigsmuseet – Holland, 
The National Museum in Greenland and Iceland, Qaqortoq Museum and several 
museums in Denmark. Participated in “Longing” in Scuplture by the Sea in Aarhus in 2009.
